Giving Tuesday (“ Un día para dar “ in Spanish) is a global movement that began in the United States promoting the exchange of good actions among individuals. The goal of this event is spending the whole Tuesday the 1st of December 2015 celebrating the action of donating to various institutions and organizations. The campaign aims to draw the attention of all citizens, families, NGOs and companies to contribute, on this day, with a donation of food, time, money, objects, second-hand goods, etc.
The hashtag spreading this initiative in social networks is #GivingTuesday; all other registered projects can already be viewed on the campaign website. In this respect , we are going to join this celebration of solidarity together with a real action. iWith.org challenges itself to offer transparency sites for all non-profit organizations mentioned on the Internet through the #TransparenciaONG hashtag.
- For more information about all concession terms of the TransparenciaONG Grant, please go to our website.
- To create your own project, just go to “Un Día para Dar” page and launch your own campaign.
Through this publication we aim to bring a new solidarity resource to organizations and help them raise funds to finance their projects, make a call for volunteers or reach other targets in tune with their primary message: to make December 1 a day for solidarity actions.
