Now YouTube allows you to edit your videos online

YouTube has launched an online video editing tool, YouTube Remixer. And although it cannot replace the editing software available in the office, it's enough to make a few basic retouches. Now we can add text, graphics, sounds, and apply cuts, transitions, filters and effects, among other functions, to the videos we post on YouTube.

One of the internet giants, YouTube, has brought out a new tool developed by Adobe (makers of Photoshop and the video editor Premiere). It's called YouTube Remixer, and it's for editing videos immediately and online, right on the web page.

It's simple and easy to use, since it has a wizard who shows you all the steps you need to take. YouTube Remixer allows you in a very simple way to bring in and interact with images, drawings and music. There's also a tool for copying, pasting and editing video clips. When the user has finished editing his video, YouTube posts it directly on the web where it can be viewed, just as its creator has edited it.

If you are still not sending your videos to alternativechannel.tv, maybe this tool will bring you a little closer to winning one of the
prizes!

Its journalists are citizens committed to the values of the freedom of the press and the exposure of the wrong-doings of some public officials. To make themselves known, they have announced an international competition of short video documentaries with a total prize of 100,000 dollars. Deadline for submission, 31 August 2007.
