Search for books: another way to search using Google

GoogleGoogle sets the standard in search engines. You can’t find anything on the internet without Google. But, do you really know how to search using Google?

We’d like to give you a trick to search for books using Google.

World Book Day is approaching and we’ve taken the opportunity to give you a trick that will allow you to search the content of books. That’s right, B-O-O-K-S.

Step 1: enter http://books.google.com in your browser

Step 2: enter the term that you want to search for

Step 3: find the book that you are looking for

In the results you will find information on books that have your search term in their content. You are able to read excerpts from these books or even the entire book in some cases.

This is a useful resource for your organisation if you work in education or if you need to find a book that contains very specific information.

Find more information on this Google service here: http://books.google.com/intl/en/googlebooks/about.html
